Is Nomadful ID free?

Yes. Nomadful ID, just like every other feature in the Nomadful app is free. If you're an organisation and wish to collect health data, you must sign up to one of our paid plans to use our services.

How can I setup my Nomadful ID?

Open the Nomadful app. Navigate to the "Account" tab. You'll see "Nomadful ID" as the first item on the list. Tap and start setting up your digital medical ID.

Who can see my health data?

Websites, apps and scanners you choose to share your Nomadful ID with will be able to see the health data you select. For stablishments using the scan companion app, they will only be able to see the selected data from your ID for 20 seconds before it autodeletes. Your Nomadful ID can only be scanned once per session (once for each time the scan companion app is opened). The data from your ID is stored locally on your device and no one but you, not even Nomadful, can access it if you don't choose to share it.

Are there any discounts for organisations?

Yes. You can apply for reduced pricing if you're a high school or university student, a school or a non-profit organisation. Once you've booked a demo, you'll be able to explore reduced pricing options.

Can I use Nomadful ID anywhere?

No. Nomadful ID can be used at partner organisations (hospitals, venues, restaurants, apps and websites). If an app, website or physical location isn't authorised by Nomadful, you won't be able to use Nomadful ID.

Can I verify my age using Nomadful ID?

Yes, but only on select occasions. While not a replacement for your passport or driver's license, Nomadful ID can help you verify your age in apps and websites, as well as age-restricted concert venues, museums and social spots. Please note that services and locations may still require you to show a government-issued ID.

How do I sign up as an organisation?

To use Nomadful ID in your organisation, you must first book a product demo with us, which is completely free of charge. If our product fits your needs, we'll arrange your account's setup and ID verifications for all team members after the demo. We require organisations to provide official information such as registration numbers, addresses and employee records.

An app prompting me to use my ID won't show up on the authorised apps list. What should I do?

Do not share any type of data. Unauthorised applications cannot use data from your Nomadful ID. Be aware that, although not necessarily the case, this may be some sort of online scam. Please submit a report so we can follow up on it with the corresponding authorities.
